1. Introduction
This Return and Refund Policy ("Policy") governs all purchases made on tamrit.in ("Website"), operated by Tamrit, having its registered office at Ram Ganga Vihar, Phase 1, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, PINCODE – 244001, India ("we," "us," or "Company").
This Policy is formulated in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, and other applicable laws of India. By placing an order on our Website, you agree to be bound by this Policy.
2. Applicability
This Policy applies to all products sold under the Tamrit brand, including copper water bottles, copper drinkware, and related accessories purchased through tamrit.in. This Policy does not apply to products purchased through third-party marketplaces (such as Amazon or Flipkart), which are governed by their respective return policies.
3. Return Window
We offer a 7-day return window from the date of delivery of the product. To be eligible for a return, you must initiate the return request within 7 (seven) calendar days from the date on which the product was delivered to you.
After the expiry of 7 days from the date of delivery, no return or exchange request will be entertained.
4. Eligible Reasons for Return
A return will be accepted only under the following circumstances:
4.1 Wrong Product Delivered You received a product that is different from what you ordered (wrong SKU, wrong variant, or wrong item).
4.2 Damaged or Defective Product The product was received in a physically damaged condition, including dents, cracks, broken lids, or visible manufacturing defects — provided this damage was not caused by the customer after delivery.
4.3 Incomplete Order Part of your order was missing at the time of delivery.
4.4 Product Not as Described The product materially differs from its description as published on our Website.
5. Conditions for Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:
- The return request must be raised within 7 days of delivery.
- The product must be unused, unwashed, and in its original condition.
- The product must be returned in its original packaging, including the box, tags, dust bags, protective materials, and any accessories or gifts included with it.
- Proof of purchase (order confirmation email or invoice) must be provided.
- A video or photograph of the damaged/defective/incorrect product must be submitted at the time of raising the return request. This is mandatory for damage/defect/wrong product claims.
- The product must not have been tampered with, modified, or subjected to misuse.
6. Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for return or refund:
- Products damaged due to misuse, negligence, improper handling, accidents, or normal wear and tear.
- Products that have been used, washed, or altered after delivery.
- Products returned without original packaging or missing accessories.
- Products where the return request is raised after 7 days of delivery.
- Products purchased during special sale events or at discounted prices, unless received in a damaged or defective condition.
- Customised or personalised products (e.g., engraved copper bottles) — unless received damaged or defective.
- Free gifts or promotional items.
Please Note: Copper naturally develops a patina over time. Slight surface tarnish or colour variation due to the natural properties of copper is not considered a defect and does not qualify for return.
7. How to Initiate a Return
To raise a return request, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Email us at tamritsupport@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery.
Step 2: Provide the following details in your communication:
- Order ID / Order Number
- Full name and delivery address
- Reason for return
- Clear photographs or a video clearly showing the issue (mandatory for damaged/defective/wrong product claims)
Step 3: Our customer support team will review your request within 2 business days and communicate the decision along with return instructions.
Step 4: If your return is approved, you will receive a confirmation with the return shipping address and instructions. Please do not ship the product back before receiving written approval.
Step 5: Pack the product securely in its original packaging and ship it to the address provided. We recommend using a trackable courier service. Tamrit is not responsible for products lost or damaged during return transit.
8. Return Shipping
8.1 Company-Arranged Pickup Where a reverse pickup facility is available at your PIN code, we will arrange a reverse pickup at no cost to you for eligible returns (wrong product, damaged product).
8.2 Customer-Shipped Returns If reverse pickup is not available in your area, you will be required to ship the product back to us. In such cases, we will reimburse reasonable shipping costs (up to ₹100) upon submission of the courier receipt, provided the return was due to our error (wrong or damaged product).
8.3 Returns Due to Change of Mind Tamrit does not accept returns based on change of mind, dislike of the product, or ordering by mistake. If such a return is approved as an exception at our sole discretion, the return shipping cost will be borne entirely by the customer, and a restocking fee of up to 10% of the product value may be levied.
9. Refund Policy
9.1 Refund Eligibility Refunds will be processed only after the returned product is received by us and inspected by our quality team. We reserve the right to reject a return if the product does not meet the conditions specified in Section 5.
9.2 Refund Mode Refunds will be issued through the original payment method used at the time of purchase:

9.3 COD Refunds For orders placed via Cash on Delivery, the refund will be processed to your bank account. You will be required to share your bank account details (account number and IFSC code) with our support team via email.
9.4 Deduction from Refund If the returned product is found to be used, damaged by the customer, or missing accessories, we reserve the right to deduct an appropriate amount from the refund to account for the diminished value of the product.
9.5 Shipping Charges Original shipping charges, if any, are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong or damaged product delivered).
10. Exchange Policy
We offer a one-time exchange for eligible products (wrong or defective products) subject to availability. If the requested product is not available, a full refund will be processed as per Section 9. Exchange requests must be raised within the same 7-day return window.
11. Cancellation Policy
11.1 Cancellation Before Dispatch You may cancel your order before it has been dispatched by contacting us at tamritsupport@gmail.com. Orders cancelled before dispatch will receive a full refund within 5–7 business days.
11.2 Cancellation After Dispatch Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. You may initiate a return after delivery as per this Policy.
11.3 Cancellation by Tamrit We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion in circumstances including but not limited to: unavailability of product, pricing errors, suspected fraudulent transactions, or delivery infeasibility. In such cases, a full refund will be issued to you.
12. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute, complaint, or grievance arising out of or in connection with this Policy or any purchase made on tamrit.in, you may contact our Grievance Officer as per the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

We will acknowledge your grievance within 48 hours and endeavour to resolve it within 30 days of receipt, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
13. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Policy shall restrict or limit your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other applicable Indian law. If you believe your consumer rights have been violated, you may also approach the relevant Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, India.

We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any time. Any changes will be updated on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Website after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
